Kids Learn to Defend Against Bullies in Our Martial Arts Classes near Omaha Nebraska
What’s your name, how old are you, and how old were you when did you start taking our Kung Fu Martial Arts classes in Bellevue?
My name is Annie. I am currently 10 years old, and I started taking Martial Arts Kung Fu Little Dragons classes here when I was around three and a half. Actually, I didn’t decide, my parents brought me here, and I just sort of got to swing at things.
What I like is probably groundwork. I was training so hard because, when I thought about it, I was preparing myself to defend myself from a bully, probably in middle school or high school. I am probably stronger than when I started … I’m probably stronger now than when I started Kung fu.
Why do I continue to do Kung fu? Probably … Honestly, I don’t know. It’s just into my routine now, so I’m just … Like every Tuesday and Thursday, and Saturday, I get up, go to school, and go to Kung Fu Class. If it’s the summer. Go home, and this is for Tuesdays and Thursdays, relax a little bit, maybe eat dinner, get my uniform on, come to Kung Fu, head back home, take a shower, go to bed.
Saturdays, I just wake up, eat breakfast, get into my martial arts uniform, come here, and then just do whatever I do for the rest of the Saturday. If it’s a Saturday, I look forward to doing groundwork, but if it’s a normal Tuesday and Thursday, it’s either the fan or maybe my jumping jacks. I thought this was fun.
What rank am I? I am currently a black belt. I’m not sure if I’m a first degree or not, honestly, confused. I’m still deciding between two, it’s either astronaut because it was always my dream to do that since I was little. Well, actually, it’s three, astronomer … I don’t know how to say it.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Astronomer, thank you. Maybe just come here and work for you. If I was a superhero, I’d be Black Widow. Kung fu means to work overtime to achieve something.
