Somebody asked me, “Why I chose Kung Fu?”

The answer is when I was a kid, there was a TV show that came out, and it was actually called Kung Fu, and it was in the early ‘70s.

When I watched that first episode, I saw this guy who had complete control over his body, and over his mind. He had all the qualities that I wanted. I could see this person, who was centered, but strong, who was peaceful, but could defend himself. On top of that, he was always looking to help other people.

You see, the environment I grew up in as a kid wasn’t peaceful or calm. At times it was violent. All those qualities that I saw in the main character, Kwai Chang Caine, and his teachers, was really powerful. Those things being absent in my life, I wanted them. Peace and the power to protect myself. Those characters and that show really caused me to want to study Kung Fu over the other martial arts.

Once I did train in Kung Fu, I got exposure to lots of other martial arts, as well. But Kung Fu has always been my core, and I love it.

I absolutely love Kung-fu and I’d like to share it with you.

So, why don’t you give me a call at 402-731-5425?
